ESG: The Trends Shaping Businesses and Financial Markets

  • The Alliance Center 1536 Wynkoop Street Denver, CO, 80202 United States (map)

Join us for an informative discussion on the key issues and challenges when using ESG (environmental, social & governance) factors for investment and business decisions. ESG investing is no longer a trend that can be ignored - it represents a fundamental paradigm shift across all industries. ESG has been empirically proven to lead to risk reduction and financial outperformance. For that reason, $12T in assets under management, or 1 in every 4 dollars, is now managed through the incorporation of ESG Factors. This is a 44% increase in just the past two years (US SIF 2018 Report). Research carried out by the Governance & Accountability Institute highlights that as many as 85% of S&P 500 companies published reports on sustainability, CSR and ESG performance in 2017. Only 20% did so as recently as 2011.
